Living

Bedford, described as the ‘perennial wallflower coming into bloom’ by the Sunday Times, was chosen as one of the paper’s 50 Best Urban Places to Live in Britain in 2015.

“It’s high time we paid more attention to this overlooked market town, just 40 minutes by train from London St Pancras” said the report.

Set on a picturesque riverside, Bedford is host to many areas of outstanding natural beauty and attractions, including stately homes and gardens, woodland walks and nature reserves, country parks and world-famous animal parks.

Bedford enjoys excellent transport links to London, the north and beyond, making it an attractive place to live, work and visit.
